After a protracted struggle with an unidentified illness, veteran Nollywood actor Asa Koko passed away.

On Thursday, his colleague Kunle Afod posted on Instagram to notify Asa Koko’s passing.

Sharing a video of his visit to the deceased’s house before his passing, Afod wrote: “May his soul rest in peace. Asa Koko. It’s a WRAP.”

As he described his hospital stay and difficulties, the deceased was seen in the video with a swollen leg.

The late actor explained: “I was hospitalised at Island. I was battling with injuries on my legs. The state governor even visited me during the treatment.”
