Olatunbosun Oladapo, the immediate past president of the Nigerian Association of Liquefied Petroleum Gas Marketers, predicted that the cost of cooking gas, also known as liquefied petroleum gas, would continue to decline in the days ahead.
In an interview with ZINGTIE on Monday, he revealed this.
This coincides with the recent decline in cooking gas costs as nationwide supply issues subsided.
According to ZINGTIE, LPG sellers in Abuja are now charging N1,500 per kilogramme instead of N2,000 a few weeks ago.
LPG is being sold for between N1090 and N1,100 per litre, down from N1,200, by NIPCO, AA Rano, and Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, Ranoil in Abuja.
In response, Oladapo stated, “We still want the price of gas to come down further.”
”The festive season is approaching, and the most important thing is ensuring the product’s availability. Let’s see how the price goes in one or two weeks.”
