President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was forewarned on Friday by Primate Elijah Ayodele, the spiritual leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, regarding the US government’s role in Nigerian politics, especially in light of Tinubu’s intentions to seek a second term in 2027.

According to a statement issued by his media assistant, Osho Oluwatosin, the cleric warned the president not to undervalue the threat posed by the U.S. government, which is expected to be the strongest opponent to Tinubu’s reelection campaign.

Primate Ayodele stated that the United States has covert intentions behind its growing involvement in Nigerian politics, and these intentions are closely related to defeating President Tinubu’s bid for a second term.

The prophet said that Tinubu’s political future may be in danger if he does not take the situation seriously and does not understand the geopolitical tactics involved.

The US government is trying to unite forces to oppose Tinubu’s campaign for a second term, so he needs to be extremely cautious and watchful.

He made it clear that this threat is based on a spiritual understanding he has received rather than mere speculation.

“From what I am seeing, the US government would be Tinubu’s major opposition in 2027,” he added.

The spiritual leader emphasized that this message should not be taken lightly or disregarded. He clarified that he is not speaking from a political position but from what he has spiritually discerned.

“If he likes, he can joke with this warning, but he is the one who has everything to lose. I am only delivering what I have seen,” Ayodele stated, pointing out out that the potential implications of ignoring this warning could be terrible for Tinubu. President Tinubu was also counseled by Primate Ayodele to shift his attention.

He maintained that the real threat is external, even though Nigerian political parties and internal opposition may appear to be the visible obstacle.

According to his spiritual vision, he stated that Tinubu’s reelection campaign is not currently facing any significant opposition from any Nigerian politician or party.

Rather, the president should be most concerned about foreign meddling, especially from the United States.

Ayodele reiterated his warning, stating that the meddling is deliberate and premeditated, and that “he needs to be very careful about external involvements in Nigerian politics; they are seriously planning against him.”

As 2027 draws near, the prophet encouraged President Tinubu to give keeping an eye on global influences more importance than domestic political challenges.
