In a quiet and personal ceremony, Priscilla, the daughter of actress Iyabo Ojo, tied the knot with her partner, Juma Mkambala, widely known as Jux. The wedding occurred on Friday, February 7, 2025, in Tanzania, the groom’s homeland.
Images from the event showcased the couple in beautiful yellow and gold outfits. Priscilla captivated in a flowing yellow sequin gown, accessorized with a chic scarf, while Jux looked sharp in a white kaftan, paired with a traditional kimono and coordinating cap.
Viral videos from the celebration also featured the bride’s mother and her best friend, Eniola Adeoluwa, who wore traditional Tanzanian attire to mark the special day.
Before the wedding, Priscilla had welcomed family and friends to Tanzania throughout the week. Videos posted on her Snapchat captured touching moments as she greeted guests at the airport, followed by clips of both families sharing meals and bonding together.
Remember that last year, news of Priscilla and her fiancé Jux’s engagement sparked excitement online. After the engagement, Jux traveled to Nigeria to spend quality time with the Ojo family. His arrival was celebrated with a lively welcome at the airport, featuring traditional dancers who rejoiced in his arrival. The warm reception continued at the Ojo home, where he was treated to a lovely gathering.
Not long after, videos surfaced showing Priscilla happily traveling to Tanzania with Jux, calling it her “home.” Upon arrival, she received a warm and heartfelt welcome from Jux’s family as well.
Meanwhile, during the week, viral videos captured the moment when Priscilla sweetly asked Jux to be her Valentine, in a room filled with flowers and beautiful decorations.
Since their relationship became known, many Nigerians have rallied behind Jux, showing support for his music career. The artist has embraced Nigerian culture, as seen in his popular track “Ololufe Mi,” which has accumulated impressive views on YouTube and sparked enthusiastic reactions from his Nigerian fans.
