The teenager’s creativity and precision in designing a highly detailed model of a typical Rainoil outlet impressed Dr. Ogbechie, who personally awarded Chinedu the check and announced the company’s commitment to sponsor his education. “We are incredibly proud of Chinedu’s talent. His design captures not just the visual identity of Rainoil but also the passion and admiration behind it,” Dr. Ogbechie said.
Chinedu’s journey began when he and his brother, Emmanuel, raised funds to build the model, hoping it would catch the attention of the station manager. However, it was Dr. Ogbechie who ultimately recognised Chinedu’s talent and decided to reward him.
Dr. Ogbechie also urged Chinedu’s parents to collaborate closely with Rainoil to ensure he completes his education successfully. This gesture demonstrates Rainoil Limited’s dedication to community development and youth empowerment by celebrating innovation and encouraging academic growth among Nigerian youths.
The award presentation took place at the Rainoil Summit Station in Asaba, where Dr. Ogbechie emphasised the importance of nurturing young talent. Rainoil’s initiative is a testament to the company’s commitment to supporting the next generation of leaders and creatives in Nigeria.
