A lady has startled the internet after telling a story of a youngster she met whose name is ‘Hello-Chukwu,’ meaning ‘Hi God.’

She recounted what the boy’s father told her in a post on X (previously Twitter).

She described in her post how she was surprised to find out the boy’s name.

She was first dubious since she had been informed that it was “Hello-Chukwu,” which means “Hi God’s” in English, rather than “Elochukwu.”

Her statement read: “Guys, I met a little boy named Hello-Chukwu. His name literally means ‘Hi God.’ I’m so mad at the parents.”

She went on to vent her annoyance by stating that she kept asking the boy’s father what his name was after they first met.

She claims that, unless he was kidding, the father attested to the fact that the boy’s name is, in fact, “Hello-Chukwu.”

Many users flocked to the comments section as she told the story to voice their opinions about the odd name.
