Real Madrid star speaks on rift with Ancelotti

The Real Madrid player Arda Guler has denied reports that he and manager Carlo Ancelotti are at odds over how much time he spends playing for the Los Blancos this year.

Though the Turkish midfielder hasn’t been a regular starter for Real Madrid this year, he has addressed the questions about where he fits into Ancelotti’s squad.

Under Ancelotti, the 19-year-old has primarily been used as a substitute.

Guler, though, stated at a news conference that he wants to play in every Los Blancos game.

“There is no problems between me and Carlo Ancelotti, at all. I’m getting more minutes this year,” Guler said (via Fabrizio Romano).

“Of course, I want to play every game… fortunately that is typical. Everything is fine. No problems.”
