Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji, the representative for Birnin Magaji/Kaura Namoda Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has denied rumors that he, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, and Bello Muhammad Matawalle, the Minister of State for Defense, are at odds.
Jaji denied social media rumors when addressing reporters at his Gusau home on Thursday, stating that he had no personal animosities toward Yari and Matawalle.
He emphasized that no one is threatening his goal of becoming governor in 2027 and reiterated that the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara is still a united front.
“I have no personal dispute with Senator Yari or Minister Matawalle, as some have speculated online. My political movement, Jajiyya Amana, is a progressive platform within the APC, focused on strengthening the party, not causing division,” he said.
Jaji warned that no political party can succeed without internal coherence and underlined the significance of solidarity among APC members.
He vowed to oppose any attempt to destabilize the APC in Zamfara and denounced the acts of those disloyal members of the party who were trying to create strife.
“We are the ones who built the APC in Zamfara, and we will not allow anyone to create divisions within the party,” Jaji proclaimed.
