Rivers crisis: Fubara’s supporters hold heavy protest against Wike (VIDEO)

Supporters of Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara swarmed the streets of Port Harcourt on Wednesday night, singing political songs.

In a viral video, supporters can be heard shouting that Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), is not God.

They argue that Wike should concentrate on his duties as Minister and that Fubara should continue to serve as Governor of Rivers.

“Wike oh, Na Minister you be oh, Na Fubara be governor. Wike you no be God”, they chanted in pidgin English.

The development comes amid increased animosity between the FCT Minister and his successor, Governor Fubara.
