Rivers: Eleme LG secretariat set ablaze

In Rivers State, a portion of the Eleme Local Government Area administration has caught fire.

According to Channels Television, when Brain Gokpa, the recently elected chairman, and his supporters and council members visited the LG secretariat, they saw that several of the complex’s buildings had been set on fire. A phone chat with Eleme-born former ambassador Oji Ngofa was referenced in the report.

The research claims that in certain local government areas (LGAs) of the state, there is a tangible fear of a possible outbreak of violence.
