Rivers: I am not fighting Fubara – Wike names three politicians he is fighting

The Federal Capital Territory’s (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, has identified the politicians he opposes in Rivers State.

Wike claims that he is not at war with Siminalayi Fubara, the suspended governor of Rivers State and his estranged political son.

He identified his opponents as Austin Okpara, Abiye Sekibo, and Celestine Omehia.

In an interview with BBC Pidgin that was made public on Saturday afternoon, Wike made this claim.

“I am fighting those who want to reap where they did not sow.

“People like Celestine Omehia, Abiye Sekibo and Austin Okpara.

“I have defeated them before and I will give them the final defeat,” Wike said.

Wike further asserted that Fubara is being pressured to face him by Omehia, Sekibo, and Okpara.

According to reports, Fubara has apologized to Wike for his actions after President Bola Tinubu suspended him after declaring a State of Emergency.
