Rivers: Niger Delta will punish Tinubu’s lawlessness in 2027 – Buhari’s ex-aide, Onochie

Former former President Muhammadu Buhari’s communications aide, Lauretta Onnochie, has discussed with President Bola Tinubu the consequences of his actions in Rivers State in the Niger Delta in 2027.

The people of the Niger Delta will punish Tinubu for the alleged lawlessness he put on Rivers State, Onnochie warned.
She charged Tinubu with enforcing a six-month unlawful and unconstitutional emergency in Rivers State.

Tinubu suspended Governor Sim Fubara, the deputy governor, and every member of the state House of Assembly when he proclaimed a state of emergency in Rivers State on March 18, 2025.

In an effort to avert a political catastrophe, Tinubu named Ibok Ibas as the only administrator to run the state during the suspension.

‎Onoche wrote: “Tinubu never thought that the 6 months of hell he illegally and unconstitutionally imposed on Rivers State will come to an end.

‎”That lawlessness will be punished in 2027 by Niger Delltans. We are set.”
