Former Juventus midfielder, Miralem Pjanic, has revealed his preferred choice between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the former Bosnia and Herzegovina international spoke about his career during the Trento Sports Festival, where he disclosed that he favours Messi over Ronaldo.
The 36-year-old described Messi’s ability as difficult to explain, likening his talent to a gift from God.
“Throughout my career, I have played alongside many talented players, with Messi and Ronaldo being particularly outstanding. Between these two aliens, I choose Messi,” Pjanic said.
“His talent is inexplicable, like a gift from God. He makes difficult things seem simple, which is astonishing. Ronaldo is equally special.”
Messi currently plays his club football for Inter Miami in the United States, while Ronaldo represents Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr.
The Argentine and Portuguese superstars have collectively won 13 Ballon d’Or awards.
