Rwanda vs Nigeria: Chelle names Super Eagles starting XI

Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, has announced his first-ever starting XI for the team.

Nigeria will face Rwanda in a 2026 World Cup qualifier in Kigali on Friday evening.

Chelle has included the attacking quartet of Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, Moses Simon, and Samuel Chukwueze in the lineup.

In midfield, Alex Iwobi and Wilfred Ndidi will start, while Stanley Nwabali takes the position of goalkeeper.

The defense will feature Ola Aina, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Calvin Bassey, and captain William Troost-Ekong.

Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. WAT.

Eric Chelle’s first starting XI:

Nwabali; Aina, Ekong, Bassey, Osayi; Ndidi, Iwobi, Chukwueze, Simon; Lookman, Osimhen.
