Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah is currently leading the race for the European Golden Shoe.

Salah has found the back of the net 27 times for the Reds, who are poised to secure the Premier League title this season.

The Egyptian forward is also at the top of the assist leaderboard.

If he continues this exceptional form, Salah could be heading towards his most prolific season in the Premier League.

Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski is in second place with 25 goals, aiming to win the prestigious award for the third time in five years.

The Polish striker has formed a lethal attacking trio with Lamine Yamal and Raphinha under manager Hansi Flick, having scored an impressive 15 goals in just 14 appearances.

Kylian Mbappe, who is in his first season at Real Madrid, has scored 22 goals, the same as Atalanta’s Mateo Retegui.

Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane also sits on 22 goals, while Ousmane Dembele has netted 21 times for PSG.

Kane clinched the Golden Shoe for the 2023-24 season with 36 goals, followed by Serhou Guirassy with 28, and both Erling Haaland and Mbappe finished with 27 goals.
