The Nigerian Armed Forces have been given a mission by President Bola Tinubu to maintain vigilance and initiative in responding to threats to regional security.
At the Nigerian Defence College in Abuja’s Course 32 Graduation Ceremony, Tinubu delivered the keynote address.
Vice President Kashim Shettima represented Tinubu, who stated that his administration is committed to ensuring that Nigeria is a secure place for investment and economic growth.
He emphasized that the country’s security concerns are a mirage that require strategic leadership to address.
Nineteen foreign participants out of the 111 total participants in the course were reported by ZINGTIE.
The Vice President asked the attendees to uphold the value of patriotism throughout his speech.
He declared that the Federal government would investigate the core suggestions put forth by the participants in their overall report to implement them.
Additionally, he pledged that his administration complete the ongoing work at the National Defence College’s permanent site.
