Those who recently petitioned the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for her recall, according to embattled Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, are All Progressives Congress (APC) members.

According to ZINGTIE, her constituents are recalling the suspended lawmaker, who was elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Although INEC recently confirmed receiving the petition, it said certain details regarding the petitioners were lacking.

The electoral umpire then stated that the missing data, which included the petitioners’ addresses and phone numbers, had been obtained.

Speaking to a large throng that enthusiastically welcomed her homecoming on Tuesday, the legislator charged that INEC was helping and advising the petitioners in order to help them improve their “illicit acts.”

She said, “From my personal perspective, what I see INEC doing is aiding and guiding petitioners on how to perfect their illicit acts.

“The first time the petition was submitted, they didn’t have address, phone numbers and all of that but INEC is out to guide them how to submit information that will perfect the petition.

“The petitioners, who were from the other party, the APC, now submitted a letterhead with an address that does not exist.”
