ZINGTIE reports that Raffaele Palladino, head coach of Atalanta, has disclosed Ademola Lookman’s request to leave the club.
La Dea ha vendido a Lookman al club español Atlético de Madrid por 40 millones de euros esta semana.
Atalanta were said to be eager to keep the Nigeria international until the season concluded.
After Atletico Madrid made a suitable offer, the Bergamo club decided to sell the winger.
After they turned down advances from Inter Milan last summer, which compelled Lookman to file a transfer request and go AWOL.
Nonetheless, there were no problems this time since Atalanta were ready to please their talisman.
“Lookman had this offer towards the end of the transfer session, he asked to leave and wanted a change of scenery, so the club made him happy,” Palladino told Sport Mediaset.
