Renowned American rapper 50 Cent has responded after his name surfaced during the ongoing sex trafficking trial involving fellow artist Sean Combs, popularly known as P. Diddy.
The rapper, who was arrested in 2024, is currently being prosecuted in New York on multiple charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering.
Throughout the explosive courtroom proceedings, several high-profile celebrities have been referenced in connection to the case.
Now entering its third week, the trial has featured emotional and disturbing testimony from Cassie Ventura, Diddy’s former partner, who described enduring over a decade of physical and emotional abuse from 2007 to 2018.
Capricorn Clark, who previously worked as Diddy’s assistant, also testified, disclosing a list of the singer’s supposed celebrity rivals. Numerous well-known names were mentioned as part of the allegations.
During her appearance in court on Tuesday, May 27, Clark claimed she overheard Diddy making threatening remarks about 50 Cent, his long-time adversary, during a conversation with a music executive. According to her, Diddy said, “I don’t like the back and forth, I don’t like that. I like guns.”
In response to the revelation that Diddy may have intended to harm him, 50 Cent posted a sarcastic message on Instagram.
He wrote: “oh my goodness itty bitty Diddy wants me Dead, I have to lay low, I think l’m gonna hide out at the playoff game tonight. LOL”.
