A political organization known as the South East Renewed Hope Agenda (SERHA) has expressed confidence that the South East region will shift its voting behavior in 2027 by supporting President Bola Tinubu, breaking away from its traditional rejection of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

This statement was made on Saturday during an event in Umuahia, where SERHA inaugurated and empowered its representatives across all 17 local government areas in Abia State.

Belusochukwu Enwere, the group’s national coordinator, emphasized that remaining in opposition is no longer a viable option for the region. He argued that aligning with Tinubu’s administration would bring exceptional progress to the South East, especially if the region contributes to his victory.

Enwere highlighted that previous strategies focusing mainly on top-level political efforts had limited success. Therefore, his organization is adopting a grassroots mobilization plan to boost Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.

He noted that SERHA will expand its presence to other states within the South East and that its members will receive comprehensive support to carry out their mission.

“This approach is a game changer. We are empowering those who are working to make what we are doing grow,” he said.

He further stated that the president is actively involving young people in leadership and economic initiatives through strategic appointments and empowerment programs.

Enwere encouraged the newly inducted members of the group in Abia to begin their work immediately and ensure that their local areas deliver widespread support for President Tinubu.
