Ex-Barcelona forward Luis Suarez has highlighted two current players who have particularly stood out to him this season.
Following Barcelona’s thrilling 4-3 El Clasico victory over Real Madrid, the Inter Miami striker praised Pedri and Lamine Yamal for their significant contributions, stating they are key difference-makers for the team.
In an interview with Pasion Blaugrana, the Uruguayan expressed that the pair continues to surprise him with their performances.
The former Liverpool ace slsaid (via Forbes): “I love Barcelona today, It has impressive dynamics, football and efficiency, has a very high level and there are two players who are above average and make the difference, which are Lamine Yamal and Pedri.”
He added, “They have other players, like Raphinha, who score at essential moments.
“But Pedri… I am seeing a level of play that surprises me at the high level he is achieving; and Yamal is surprising me because of how old he is.”
Pedri and Yamal have been impressive for Hansi Flick’s side so far this season.
