ZINGTIE reports that Ashleigh Plumptre has started her rehabilitation after a successful surgery on her left foot.

After the setback, the defender underwent surgery last weekend.

Her Saudi club, Al-Ittihad Ladies, announced the news of the Nigeria international’s surgery.

The injury is expected to sideline Plumptre for several months.

This will be Plumptre’s second serious injury since joining Al-Ittihad.

ZINGTIE remembers that the 27-year-old was out of action for about six months in 2024.
