The report showcases the church’s commitment to supporting those in need, with a focus on initiatives that promote self-reliance and address critical humanitarian needs. One notable example is the church’s global women’s health initiative, which received $55.8 million in funding. This initiative aims to improve the health and well-being of women and girls around the world.

In addition to this initiative, the church supported an impressive 3,836 humanitarian projects in 192 countries, demonstrating its commitment to caring for those in need worldwide. The church also reported an impressive 6.6 million hours of service at its welfare and self-reliance facilities, a testament to the dedication of its members and friends

Through its collaborations with esteemed organisations such as the World Food Program USA, UNICEF, CARE, and others, the church supported 591 food security projects and 267 clean water, hygiene, and sanitation projects. These efforts have helped to alleviate suffering and promote self-reliance in communities around the world.

The church also provided critical emergency relief efforts, including shelter, food, water, disaster cleanup, emotional support, and psychological first aid across five continents. These efforts have helped to bring hope and comfort to those affected by disasters and crises.

According to Blaine Maxfield, managing director of Church Welfare and Self-Reliance Services, “These worldwide efforts would not be possible without the generous donations of time and resources from faithful members and friends of the Church.” Maxfield emphasized the importance of extending care to those in need, stating, “As we extend our care to those in need, we can help them feel God’s love.
