Queen Dammy, also known as Nollywood actress Damilola Moshood, has publicly addressed circulating allegations about her pregnancy and the paternity of her baby, adamantly stating that the child is her husband’s, a king’s.
Queen Dammy denied popular social media rumors to the contrary in an interview posted on Wasilacoded TV’s official YouTube channel on Thursday, August 8, 2025.
“I was young when I married the king, and I didn’t have a boyfriend at the time,” she stated. “It’s not possible for me to give another man’s child to the king. I didn’t buy my son. I didn’t give another man’s pregnancy to the king — the king owns my son.”
She continued to emphasize that she became pregnant following her marriage to the monarch, saying, “The king got me pregnant, and I had a child for him. People can keep on saying whatever they like.”
Setting the record straight and dispelling rumors regarding her personal life were the goals of the actress’s comments. Queen Dammy, a well-known personality in the Nigerian film business, recognized the challenge of preserving privacy in the face of public scrutiny, particularly when it comes to extremely private issues like marriage and parenthood.
Her open admission highlights a larger issue that celebrities deal with: striking a balance between the desire to preserve family life and public curiosity. Queen Dammy wants to end the debate and shift the focus back to her career by reaffirming her husband’s paternity.
