On Wednesday of this week, the Naira saw its third straight increase in value relative to the US dollar.

According to data from the Central Bank of Nigeria, the value of the Naira increased marginally from Tuesday’s exchange rate of N1,463.45 to N1,463.44 versus the dollar on Wednesday.

This indicates that the Naira appreciated by N0.01 on a daily basis.

However, compared to the exchange rate last Friday, October 17, 2025, the country’s currency has increased by N11.91 per dollar during the past three days.

Abubakar Alhasan verified to ZINGTIE on Wednesday that the Naira was unchanged at N1,500 per dollar on the parallel foreign exchange market, the same level as it was on Tuesday.

As of October 20, 2025, Nigeria had $42.79 billion in external reserves.

Remember that on Tuesday, the value of the naira continued to rise in relation to the dollar.
