Kagumo resident Mary Maina has given a tragic account of how eleven men, including her husband’s best friend, bound her husband and alternately raped her as her husband and children watched.

Mary claims that she entered a romance and eventually married after finishing her schooling. Shortly after she moved into her married house, her husband got a job away from home, leaving her and their two kids behind.

Mary went to a neighborhood vigil one evening. When she got home, she was sleeping when she felt a hand abruptly touch her beneath the covers. Since her husband had only left for work the day before, she initially questioned whether he had returned unexpectedly. She had no idea that her nightmare was only getting started.

The house had been broken into by ten guys, one of whom was a close friend of her husband. After raping her alternately, they stole cash and home goods. One suspect was taken into custody when Mary informed the police about the occurrence. But he was freed only two years later.

Mary and her husband moved in an attempt to get away from the tragedy. They relocated to a new town, where they established a store and constructed a home. Two years later, however, tragedy struck once more.

At night, about twenty men broke into their house. They tied up her spouse and dragged him outdoors. Some of the attackers raped her again, this time in front of her three children, while others pillaged their goods.

Mary claims that despite reporting the second incident to the police, no one was taken into custody. With the notion that a mysterious force might be responsible for the recurring horrors, she is now seeking for prayers and deliverance since she thinks what has happened to her may not be normal.
