For the first six months I lived in Canada, this man was my landlord. He gave me all the house’s keys and never once requested for payment.
My landlord is this man. I lived in Canada for six months before he asked for rent. I am the one who looks after the house, and he gave me all of the keys. Without requiring rent from me, God used him to bless me while others are paying $600, $700, or $1,000 a month. I mop floors, remove snow, clean restrooms, and cut the lawn. Even though I look after his residence, I assist him every day.
My defining characteristics are discipline, dedication, service, and humility. The purpose of this post is to enable African youth, especially those from low-income families, to learn how to participate in services that will open doors for them. Your destiny and chance will be destroyed by pride.
You can go far if you are humble. People need to know what you’re capable of. He was my father, and I admired and honoured him. He was proud of my culture, my colour, and my personality, and he never treated me harshly.
My landlord once went out of his way to find me employment. Through his recommendations, I was able to secure my first part-time work in Canada. One of my angels in Canada is this man.
I’ve made the decision to thank him on this platform today. Thank you is a must. The majority of people do not know how to honour and value others in order to establish strategic partnerships, which is the reason why they are not receiving assistance. People are doors; carefully open them.
It can occasionally be costly to stay overseas, particularly for rent. In front of God and him, I received a favour. When I told him I was done with school today, he was excited and gave me a blessing.
God is the one who raises men; I really don’t know what more to say.
