According to singer Timaya, Rema is the head of the upcoming Nigerian music scene.

The “Dem Mama” crooner recently praised Rema in an interview with Cool FM, calling him a “intentional” musician.

Timaya claimed that Rema stood out from his friends due to his sense of style and musical taste.

“I’m a fan of Rema. Among all the young boys [new generational musicians], he’s at the top. Rema is their dad. You don’t know?

“He’s intentional; his music, his stage performance are amazing. And he’s a fine young boy,” the singer said.
