All Progressives Congress (APC) Chieftain Joe Igbokwe has called opposition leaders who have ambitions to depose President Bola Tinubu in 2027 “appointment bandits.”

In a post on his Facebook page, Igbokwe claimed that several politicians who had been ousted from the previous government due to corruption were behind the scheme to remove Tinubu.

He wrote, “All the bad politicians, all those PMB sent packing during his tenure for corruption, all those he sent away for none performance and all the appointment bandits are the ones who want to defeat PBAT in 2027 abi? Make we they play”.

According to ZINGTIE, the coalition planning Tinubu’s overthrow in 2027 includes at least four former ministers who were in office under Mohammadu Buhari.

Among the disgruntled members of the All Progressives Congress opposing Tinubu’s reelection are former Transportation Minister Rotimi Amaechi, former Justice Minister Abubakar Malami, former Aviation Minister Hadi Sirika, and former Interior Minister Rauf Aregbesola.
