Nigerian judges have been reminded by President Bola Tinubu that the country should never sell justice.
At the All Nigeria Judges’ Conference in Abuja on Monday, the President made this accusation.
The bench should never be referred to be a haven for compromise, he said.
“Let us be clear. No amount of reforms can succeed if integrity is compromised.
“Justice must never be for sale. The bench must never be called a sanctuary of compromise.
“Corruption in any form or in any arm of government weakens the nation. So, destroy corruption in the judiciary to the core,” Tinubu urged the judges.
