Tinubu now Fubara’s new master in Rivers – Aisha Yesufu

Frontline sociopolitical activist Aisha Yesufu has responded to Rivers State’s settled political turmoil.

Yesufu revealed that Rivers State Governor Sim Fubara’s new master is President Bola Tinubu.

Remember how Tinubu banned Fubara six months ago after a political spat with Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory?

In addition, the president appointed a single administrator and declared an emergency in Rivers State.

The president revoked the state of emergency and reinstated Fubara last week.

Both Wike and Fubara claimed that their differences had been settled and that the state was once again at peace when he was reinstated.

Fubara and Tinubu had a private meeting in Abuja on Tuesday.

Posting on X, Yesufu wrote: “Wike handed his hold over Rivers State directly to Tinubu! Fubara got a new Master.”
