Tragedy as 18 cows die after grazing on fumigated farm in Plateau

In Vwei village, Riyom Local Government Area, Plateau State, around eighteen cows have died after purportedly grazing on a fumigated crop.

Local sources who spoke to Zagazola Makama allege that the event happened on Wednesday at around noon when one Dan’azumi Haruna’s cattle wandered into the treated farmland.

According to reports, 11 of the cows died instantly, and seven were killed because they were contaminated.

According to the source, 15 additional cattle who were impacted by the chemical exposure are presently undergoing treatment.
