Super Eagles attacker Ademola Lookman is reportedly a target for Atlético Madrid this summer.

The Spanish LaLiga club continues to pursue Lookman’s transfer from Atalanta.

According to football insider Fabrizio Romano, recent discussions have resumed even after Atlético’s signing of Thiago Almada, as they await clearer information on the final transfer fee.

In other news, Arsenal have reached a preliminary agreement with Ethan Nwaneri on a contract extension.

Following positive talks last weekend, Nwaneri and his representatives have agreed to commit to a new deal with the Gunners.

Despite interest from several clubs including London rivals Chelsea Ethan has consistently prioritized remaining at Arsenal.

Romano also shared that Liverpool winger Luis Díaz is open to a move away from Anfield this summer if the right offer comes in.

Liverpool previously turned down bids from Bayern Munich and Barcelona in June, as they are keen to retain Díaz.

Both Bayern and Barça are reportedly planning renewed efforts and remain in direct communication with Díaz’s agents.
