Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade is reportedly attracting strong interest from French Division 1 Féminine giants Paris Saint-Germain.
The 24-year-old is currently a free agent, having parted ways with Spanish side Atlético Madrid in June upon the expiration of her contract.
Should the move materialize, Ajibade would become the second Nigerian to join the PSG women’s team, where midfielder Jennifer Echegini is already making her mark.
Although the winger has previously been linked with potential offers from clubs in the United States’ National Women’s Soccer League, PSG now appear to be in pole position to secure her services.
Ajibade recently captained Nigeria’s Super Falcons to victory at the 2024 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations held in Morocco, earning the tournament’s Best Player award for her outstanding performances.
