According to ZINGTIE, Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho has been to Spain in order to finalise his permanent move to Sevilla, a La Liga club.

Iheanacho will have a routine medical before signing a two-year deal with the Rojiblancos.

The 27-year-old won an FA Cup with Leicester City during his seven-year stay there in the 2020–21 campaign.

The following season, Leicester City defeated Manchester City, the striker’s former team, to win the Community Shield.

Iheanacho’s contract with King Power Stadium expired last month, therefore he left.

He will be paired with fellow countryman Chidera Ejuke, who also transferred for free to Sevilla.

Sevilla is going through a significant reorganisation after a dismal season in which they finish in 14th position.
