Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson is reportedly set to join Newcastle United, choosing the Magpies ahead of several other clubs vying for his signature during the current transfer window.

The Senegalese international is said to be pushing for an exit from Stamford Bridge, and Chelsea are reportedly open to letting him go for a fee in the region of £64 million.

Jackson has been noticeably absent from the club’s recent pre-season fixtures against Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan, and it’s understood he has been training separately from the rest of the squad.

The former Villarreal striker is expected to serve as a direct replacement for Alexander Isak at Newcastle, should the Swedish forward complete a rumored move to Liverpool this summer.

In another transfer update, Chelsea have confirmed that defender Maelys Mpome has finalized a permanent switch to Brighton.

The announcement, made via the club’s official website, included well-wishes for Mpome as she embarks on the next chapter of her career.

Mpome, who signed with Chelsea in 2024 after four years with Montpellier in France, made her debut for the Blues in a UEFA Women’s Champions League group-stage match against Real Madrid last October, coming on as a late substitute.
