Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson could be set for a departure from Stamford Bridge amid growing transfer developments within the club.
His potential exit comes in the wake of Chelsea’s decision to sanction Noni Madueke’s move to Premier League rivals Arsenal a move that could pave the way for Jackson to consider a new opportunity elsewhere, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano.
AC Milan have reportedly expressed interest in the striker, but negotiations have stalled due to Chelsea’s high valuation. In addition, a number of Premier League sides have shown interest in the former Villarreal player and have been made aware of the financial terms involved.
In a related update, Arsenal have taken a firm stance regarding young midfielder Ethan Nwaneri, who has attracted interest from Chelsea and several Bundesliga clubs.
According to The Guardian, the north London club remains optimistic that the England U18 international will commit his future to the Emirates by signing a new contract.
Speculation around Nwaneri’s future emerged earlier in the year when he was granted permission to engage in discussions with other clubs.
