On Monday, Super Eagles defender Bruno Onyemaechi will finalize his permanent move to Olympiacos, the dominant team in the Greek Super League.
After traveling to Greece on Thursday, Onyemaechi had his medical examination on Friday.
The 25-year-old and Olympiacos will sign a three-and-a-half-year contract.
Boavista, a Portuguese club, will receive €2.5 million from Olympiacos as a transfer fee.
The left-back came to Boavista on loan from CD Feirense, another Portuguese team, in 2022.
The next season, the loan agreement became permanent.
Onyemaechi has made 18 league appearances for Boavista this season, tallying three goals and one assist.
