Turkish football pundit Cem Dizdar has advised Galatasaray to consider a backup plan regarding striker Victor Osimhen’s future with the club.

Dizdar claimed that Osimhen’s representative is withholding information from Galatasaray about the player’s potential next move ahead of the summer transfer window.

Osimhen joined Galatasaray on a season-long loan from Serie A side Napoli last September.

This follows the Nigeria international’s failure to secure a move on deadline day to either Premier League club Chelsea or Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli.

Speculation about Osimhen’s future has grown following his impressive performances for Galatasaray this season, with reports suggesting potential moves to Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal, and Paris Saint-Germain in the upcoming summer transfer window.

“Victor Osimhen’s manager has started talking too much. When a manager starts talking too much, there is something else going on,” Dizdar was quoted as saying by habersarikirmizi.

“He is hiding things from us that we are trying to see. The smell will come out soon anyway.”

He added, “Players like Osimhen suit big clubs like Galatasaray, but they always have to think of plan B.

“No one thought that Victor Osimhen would replace Mauro Icardi, but Galatasaray did. They will also think of an alternative to Osimhen.”

Osimhen has scored 26 goals in 30 matches across all competitions for Galatasaray this season.
