Real Madrid is reportedly prepared to part ways with three senior members of their squad during the current summer transfer window.
According to Diario AS, the Spanish giants are open to offers for David Alaba, Ferland Mendy, and Rodrygo.
The report notes that offloading these players might prove challenging for the club this summer.
In Alaba’s case, Real Madrid explored the option of paying a portion of his salary to mutually terminate his contract. However, the Austrian defender rejected the proposal, insisting he wants to remain at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Alaba, Mendy, and Rodrygo now face key decisions about their future ahead of the new season.
Notably, none of the three featured in Real Madrid’s recent Club World Cup semi-final loss to Paris Saint-Germain.
Given the current situation, their long-term roles at the club remain uncertain, and regular playing time under manager Xabi Alonso is not guaranteed.
