Transfer: Romano gives fresh update on Chelsea’s move for Osimhen

Fabrizio Romano, a football transfer analyst, has updated us on Chelsea’s pursuit of Victor Osimhen of Napoli.

While speaking, Romano denied rumours that the Blues had given up on signing the Nigerian international this summer.

Prior to the end of the summer transfer season, Osimhen is eager to depart Napoli.

The former striker for Lille has been connected to Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, and Arsenal.

However, in a tweet on Tuesday night, Romano wrote: “Chelsea have never left the race for Victor Osimhen, despite reports this month.

“Interest has always been and remains there, but Osimhen’s still only open to leaving only on permanent transfer and not reducing his salary. No changes so far.”
