Tyrese Gibson, an American actor, has called marriage “true wealth.”

The movie star claimed that wealthy individuals, like Beyoncé and Jay-Z, recognise marriage as “true wealth” in an interview with the Club Shay Shay podcast.

Gibson said, “True wealth is marriage. Jay-Z and Beyoncé understand that. Nobody needs to go home to a vibrator. Nobody needs to be alone. Nobody should be alone. This concept of being alone is bullsh*t!

“Because most of your favorite female singers who are out here singing these songs are going home to their man, fiancé, or husband… Nobody wants to be alone. Companionship is biblical. Marriage is very important.”

The actor has gone through two marriages and divorces. From 2007 to 2009, Norma Mitchell was his spouse. He wed Samantha Lee in 2017, but their marriage disintegrated in 2020.
