According to Controversial Islamic cleric, Ahmad Gumi, President Donald Trump’s allegation of a Christian genocide in Nigeria revealed cruel, unpatriotic people.
According to ZINGTIE, Trump has named Nigeria a Country of Particular Concerns due to allegations that Christians residing there are being persecuted.
In order to eradicate the terrorists responsible for the purported killing of Nigerian Christians, he also vowed to use force in Nigeria.
Nigerians were divided over the assertion; some supported the story, while others maintained that no specific faith is the target of Nigeria’s security problems.
Since then, Gumi has refuted the assertion, calling on Trump to take back his remarks that Nigeria is a shameful nation.
The Islamic scholar claimed in a Facebook post on Monday that the US President’s action has revealed people who do not want the nation to prosper.
He wrote, “Trump’s lies about ‘Christian genocide’ in Nigeria have exposed unpatriotic, hateful citizens who wish no good for the nation. We can’t be deceived anymore”.
