Turkey: Galatasaray boss, Buruk gives Osimhen fresh label

According to Okan Buruk, the manager of Galatasaray, Victor Osimhen is the world’s best striker currently.

Since joining the Turkish Super Lig champions on loan from Napoli in September, Osimhen has been playing at an incredible level.

The 25-year-old has made nine appearances for the Yellow and Reds, scoring eight goals.

In contrast, Haaland has scored 15 goals in 16 games for Manchester City.

But according to Buruk, Osimhen is performing better than the Norwegian right now.

“There are not many elite strikers in Europe,” Buruk was quoted by Turkish website, Assist Analiz.

“Haaland may come to mind first, but since Manchester City have lost in recent weeks, I would say Osimhen is the best right now.”
