Former Manchester United defender Paul Parker has dismissed any chances of Arsenal making a comeback against Paris Saint-Germain in their Champions League semi-final second leg.

Arsenal is set to travel to Paris for the second leg of their Champions League semi-final against PSG, after suffering a 1-0 defeat at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday.

Despite this, Parker is confident that Mikel Arteta’s team will not be able to stage a comeback in Paris, effectively ruling out their hopes of reaching the Champions League final.

“If you are an Arsenal fan, you’d be a bit disappointed really. You want them [the team] to give you something to cheer about, not them telling you to cheer,” Parker said via iGaming as quoted by Metro UK.

“I don’t think Arsenal can fight back [against PSG] in the Champions League.”

Meanwhile, Arsenal will take on Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday in their next game.

PSG, on the other hand, will tackle Strasbourg in the French Ligue 1 tie this weekend.
