UEFA has confirmed that it will not relocate the Europa League final, even if both Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur reach the showdown.

The final is set to take place at San Mames, the home ground of Athletic Bilbao, which had initially hoped to see its own team contest for the title on home turf. However, those hopes were dashed after Manchester United defeated Bilbao 3-0 on Thursday.

With United now on track to face Tottenham—who hold a 3-1 first-leg lead over Bodo/Glimt—in the final, there has been speculation about moving the match to a more neutral or fan-friendly location, given the likelihood of an all-English final.

But according to the BBC, UEFA has no intention of changing the venue. The 51,000-capacity stadium in Bilbao will host the final regardless of which clubs qualify.

Out of the total 49,600 available seats, 41,000 tickets have been allocated for fans and the general public. Each finalist could receive up to 15,000 tickets, with the rest available for worldwide supporters through direct sales.
