Three students from the University of Ibadan (UI) have demonstrated exceptional academic excellence by securing top positions in two esteemed competitions organised by FlexiSAF. The competitions, which drew over 6,000 participants from over 200 tertiary institutions across Nigeria, showcased the intellectual prowess of UI students.

In the Distinction Quizathon, a rigorous AI-powered competition, Daniel Adesanya, a 500-level petroleum engineering student, emerged 1st, winning a ₦1,000,000 cash prize. Adesanya’s mastery of critical thinking and problem-solving skills earned him the top spot. Barnabas Oluwasegun, a 200-level medicine and surgery student, secured 3rd place, taking home a ₦500,000 cash prize for his remarkable performance.

In the National Campus Challenge, organized in collaboration with the Committee of Directors of ICT in Nigerian Tertiary Institutions (COMDICT-NTI), Abayomi Elijah Olutayo, a 200-level Medicine and surgery

The University of Ibadan’s Director of Information Technology and Media Services (ITeMS), Mrs. Abiodun Alao, received the National Campus competition certificate on behalf of the university.
