Ugandan model Eva Apio, who is based in the UK, has spoken out regarding rumors linking her romantically to Nigerian music artist Asake.

Speculation about a possible relationship between the two began circulating after they were spotted together at various public events.

Responding to the assumptions, Eva took to her X account on Sunday to make it clear that she and Asake are not romantically involved. Her post came in reaction to an earlier message that suggested she was the singer’s partner.

Responding, Apio wrote, “I was never his girlfriend.”
