Angel, a 16-year-old Benue bride-to-be, took her SSCE examinations this year, according to a family source.

Angel and Michael’s pre-wedding images had drawn mixed comments online due to the noticeable age disparity.

According to activist Zege Orkwande, a close relative to the groom who confirmed Angel’s age, claimed that the teenage girl made the decision to marry Michael since she wasn’t sure if her aunt will continue to support her studies.
