After taking a break from public appearances to care for herself, Nigerian actress and model Annie Idibia, now known as Annie Macaulay, has finally been spotted in public.
Recall how Annie made news after she returned to social media amid the chaos and clamor surrounding her failed marriage to 2Baba.
When Annie’s estranged husband, 2Baba, announced their separation on January 26, 2025, it sparked reactions from celebrities, online users, and Annie’s coworkers.
The actress returned to her Instagram page, which has about eight million followers, and erased all of her photographs, leaving only one post in which she thanked her friends and supporters.
Reports surfaced that Annie had been admitted to a rehab, where she was getting clean following 2Baba’s announcement of the dissolution of his marriage.
In a recent video, the actress was seen grinning as she spoke with Regina Daniels and her family, demonstrating that she had moved past the controversy.
A video showed a man joyfully embracing Annie, clearly thrilled to see her.
Annie reportedly spent the weekend with Senator Ned Nwokwo and his wife, Regina Daniels.
